Planning a Visit

Scuttlebutt Farm is out in the country, in Isle of Wight County, so visits are by appointment. Please reach out in advance so Mark can make sure he's available to meet and greet you — our neighbors and community keep a reasonably protective posture toward unexpected visitors, and we fully support their right to do that.

The farm is located at 19418 Oliver Drive, Smithfield, Virginia 23430. If you're picking up something or visiting for a session, enter the driveway and proceed past the pecan trees to The Office (the old Ray's Barber Shop building) — the driveway loops around the Leyland Cypress and brings you back out the way you came. If you'd rather skip typing the address, just tell your navigation app to take you to Scuttlebutt Farm in Virginia.

In the Navy, gathering up or assembling is called “mustering.” Whether you're visiting or mustering for a scheduled event: enter where the white arrows point, park where the red ones point, and meet where the green happens. 🙂
