This Website is under continuous construction

This is the second or third time I have rebuilt this website from scratch. I do not have a staff to do this, but I clearly haven’t mastered backing up and restoring the site.

I would say be patient as I build it back the way I envision it, but honestly who is really reading my blog at this point?

I will explain the story of why I named my homestead Scuttlebutt Farm, but for now, I guess I will simply discuss my basic vision for this site.

Scuttlebutt Farm is hyperlocal – This means we are not trying to develop a customer base all over the world, or even outside of our local area. We do not hate money and would welcome business anywhere but we will be focus on our local community.

Scuttlebutt Farm is an educational homestead, we love to learn new things or how to do old things more effectively. We also like to teach, teaching is also learning. Growing our mind while growing with nature produces value. We hope one day to host classes, farm tours, and demonstrations.

Most locally we are in the Wills Corner area of Virginia, just north of Chuckatuck, in southeast Isle of Wight County just before Suffolk.
